Stimulation & rebuilding
Platelet-rich plasma and fibrin
An autologous treatment using the patient's own blood — regeneration and rebuilding of the skin.

What is platelet-rich plasma (PRP)?
The purpose of administering it is to increase the number of blood platelets in a particular environment in order to improve the quality of damaged soft tissue by stimulating the skin. PRP is an autologous treatment used in plastic surgery and dermatology as well as in orthopaedics and ophthalmology — it has a very wide range of applications.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a blood-derived product obtained from peripheral blood taken from the patient, which contains an increased quantity of blood platelets. It contains numerous growth factors, which means it can stimulate the processes of regeneration; it is used in regenerative therapy for the skin as well as in speeding up wound healing.
The mechanism of action of the anaesthetic
The product provides anaesthesia by releasing the anaesthetic agent from the cream into the layers of the epidermis and the dermis in the area of the skin receptors and nerve endings that mediate the sensation of pain. The components of the anaesthetic: lidocaine and prilocaine are amide local anaesthetic medicines. Both compounds stabilise neuronal membranes by inhibiting the flow of the ions necessary to initiate and conduct nerve impulses, which results in local anaesthesia of the area treated with the medicine. The product causes a two-phase vascular response – an initial narrowing of the vessels, followed by dilation.
To achieve optimal results, at least three treatments are recommended, depending on the area of the body. The details of the number of treatments and their effectiveness are discussed during the consultation.
