What is tropocollagen?

Tropocollagen products are intended for the regeneration and rebuilding both of the skin of the face, neck, décolletage and the whole body, and of the spatial structure of the subcutaneous tissue and the muscles.

What does a tropocollagen treatment involve?

The mechanism of action consists of the immediate rebuilding of the collagen fibres of the skin and the subcutaneous tissue, without having to wait for the mechanism of collagen neosynthesis by the fibroblasts to be triggered. That process is set in motion precisely by this immediate rebuilding of the bio-scaffolding – the fibroblasts, having regained their connection with the extracellular matrix, begin to produce their own type I tropocollagen, from which collagen fibres are formed. In addition, the auxiliary substances present in the products, in the form of vitamins and bioflavonoids, speed up cell metabolism, contributing to an even more effective process of tissue regeneration. Using the products additionally stimulates the proliferation, that is the multiplication, of fibroblasts and their migration into the areas of damaged tissue, which matters not only for the regeneration of the skin in aesthetic medicine treatments but also has an important application in the process of wound healing and the treatment of scars and stretch marks.

To achieve optimal results, at least three treatments are recommended, depending on the area of the body. The details of the number of treatments and their effectiveness are discussed during the consultation.
