What is the BTX effect?
The BTX effect is a treatment carried out in the area of expression lines — those that form as a result of the work of the facial muscles (the forehead, the area between the brows, the ‘crow's feet’ around the eyes). I choose the type of product, the area and the way it is administered individually during the consultation, with the aim of preserving natural facial expression.
The result is individual — it depends on age, the condition of the skin and lifestyle. We discuss the scope of the treatment and the results that can realistically be achieved during the consultation.
Indications
- Expression lines on the forehead, the ‘frown line’ between the brows, ‘crow's feet’ around the eyes
- Prevention of expression lines deepening further
- Excessive muscle tension, for example bruxism
- Excessive sweating of the underarms, hands or feet
Variants and prices
The price depends on the area and the indication. Each variant takes about 30 minutes:
- Frown line — 350 zł
- Frown line + forehead — 500 zł
- Jowls + neck — 350 zł
- Dimpled chin — 200 zł
- Bruxism — 800 zł
- Nose narrowing — 200 zł
- Bunny lines — 200 zł
- Hunger points — 500 zł
- Flip lip — 300 zł
- Correction of the corners of the mouth — 200 zł
Contraindications
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the product
- Infections, irritation and inflammation of the skin at the treatment site
- Neuromuscular disorders (for example myasthenia)
- Autoimmune conditions, for example lupus erythematosus
- Taking certain antibiotics (for example aminoglycosides)
